All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply and will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, genetic information, veteran status, or any other basis protected by local, state, or federal law.
About this Position
At Texas Mutual, we're building a stronger, safer Texas — and that begins inside our own walls. As part of our modernization and transformation journey, we're preparing our people and systems for the future. Our new Enterprise Change Management team plays a critical role in helping our people and customers adapt, adopt, and excel as we evolve.
We're looking for a Change Manager or Senior Change Manager, reporting to the VP Change Management, to help lead the people side of transformation—ensuring that employees and customers have the clarity, tools, and confidence to embrace change. You'll work with leaders across Product, Engineering, Project Management, Operations, HR, and Communications to build lasting capability across the enterprise.
You'll design change strategies, communications, and training that make transitions clear and human. Working across multiple teams, you'll guide adoption efforts that turn strategy into measurable results. You will blend strategy, creativity, and empathy to help Texas Mutual grow stronger through change.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a hybrid-flex work schedule (2-4 days in office will be required) and report to any one of our four office locations in either Austin, Dallas, Houston or Lubbock. This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly created department. We are currently hiring for three positions as we build this new team. Come join our team and be a part of making a difference in Texas
Responsibilities & Qualifications
In this role, you will:
- Lead change management efforts for assigned projects—from readiness assessment through adoption and sustainment.
- Design and implement change strategies using frameworks such as Prosci ADKAR or similar methodologies.
- Partner with project and product teams to align change, communications, and training plans with project milestones.
- Build stakeholder engagement plans and communication campaigns that make change clear, human, and actionable.
- Develop and deliver role-based training, enablement, and toolkits.
- Track adoption and readiness metrics to show progress and impact growth.
- Contribute to the growth of the Enterprise Change Center of Excellence by sharing lessons learned, tools, and best practices.
- Champion a culture of learning across Texas Mutual.
What you'll need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent education, training, or experience.
- 2 + years (Change Manager) / 4 + years (Senior Change Manager) of experience in organizational change, transformation, or related roles or equivalent education, training, or experience.
- Hands-on experience developing change strategies for mid- to large-scale projects.
- Experience developing and delivering training and enablement materials—from job aids and role-based curricula to workshops and learning-in-the-flow experiences.
- Familiarity with change management methodologies (Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter and Lewin).
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced degree.
- Change management certification (Prosci CCMP or similar).
- Agile experience.
