Job description

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced AMFT to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment and early recovery care. This role offers the opportunity to accrue practicum hours under the supervision of our Clinical Director. Key Responsibilities:

  • Group Facilitation: Lead engaging and therapeutic groups tailored to individuals in early recovery.
  • Individual Counseling and Case Management: Offer one-on-one support addressing substance use and co-occurring concerns.
  • Curriculum Development: Help design and enhance programming in collaboration with the clinical team.
  • Documentation: Maintain timely and accurate records using Kipu EMR.
  • Communication: Collaborate with clients, families, and team members professionally.
  • Boundary Management: Maintain healthy, professional therapeutic boundaries.
  • Administrative Tasks: Contribute to day-to-day operations and show up reliably and punctually.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's in Social Work or Clinical Psychology.
  • Licensure: Active AMFT, ASW, or APCC registration in California.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years working in behavioral health, with a focus on substance use and recovery.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with Kipu EMR and Microsoft Office preferred.
