Field Business Development Representative
2 days ago
The Role As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll be the frontline driver of our expansion, forging strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, senior living communities, and referral networks to bring our life-changing services to more patients. This is a dynamic role where your initiative directly fuels company growth—and your success. We're seeking a dedicated achiever who thrives on meaningful wins, with uncapped commissions that generously reward outstanding performance. Work in the field with flexible hours, making calls from on-site, attending networking events, and traveling locally (and beyond) as needed to build strong connections and secure partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and Qualify Leads: Identify and engage high-value opportunities within physician practices, hospitals, and community organizations using targeted outreach, cold calling, and digital campaigns—then follow up in person to nurture them effectively.
- Build Lasting Relationships: Foster trust with decision-makers through consultative selling, in-person demonstrations, and showcasing how our at-home therapy solutions address challenges like patient retention and operational efficiency.
- Drive Revenue Growth: Manage a robust pipeline, negotiate contracts during site visits, and close deals that create lasting impact—such as expanding referral streams and increasing patient volume through consistent effort.
- Collaborate and Strategize: Partner with our clinical and marketing teams to refine pitches, share insights from direct interactions, and enhance go-to-market strategies.
- Track and Celebrate Progress: Use CRM tools to monitor activities, forecast accurately, and highlight achievements with data-driven insights, while documenting travel and outreach.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven Sales Experience: 2+ years in dynamic B2B sales environments, with a demonstrated history of exceeding quotas in competitive, relationship-focused markets (bonus points for healthcare-related experience).
- Results-Oriented Approach: Self-motivated professional who navigates complex sales cycles with ease, addresses concerns thoughtfully, and converts opportunities with confidence and empathy—regardless of the setting.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written abilities to convey value propositions that connect with busy professionals and leaders, whether in casual conversations or formal meetings.
- Tech-Savvy and Organized: Proficient with Salesforce (or similar CRM), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and virtual meeting tools; analytical skills to use data for smarter strategies, plus a reliable vehicle for territory management.
- Growth Mindset: Adaptable collaborator eager to dive into our industry, share fresh ideas, and grow alongside a scaling organization.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma with equivalent experience considered for exceptional candidates.
No prior therapy knowledge required—we'll provide comprehensive training. What matters most is your passion for sales and genuine ability to connect with others.
What We Offer:
- Unlimited Earning Potential: Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission structure—top performers are reaching six figures through tiered incentives and special bonuses. Your achievements drive our shared success.
- Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, vision coverage; 401(k) with match; generous PTO; mileage reimbursement; and a professional development stipend for sales training or industry events.
- Supportive Culture: Be part of a collaborative, high-achieving team with quarterly recognition, incentive programs, and open access to leadership. We're committed to your professional growth because your success strengthens us all.
- Balanced Impact: Field-based role with home office support for planning and admin work, plus wellness resources to help you stay energized and focused.

Stern At-Home Therapy is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
About Stern At Home Therapy:
Our mission is to provide superlative levels of patient therapy in the comfort of home. To support our mission, we emphasize on the compatibility of the very best in patient care, staff potential and partner value. Our patients: The antidote to ordinary therapy, our strategy focuses on improved performance and comfort throughout each custom therapy regimen. Our therapists: The very leaders of our vision, we place great emphasis on encouragement and comprehensive resources to influence the progress that our therapists provide. Our partners: The strategic enforcement of our practices ensure that every partner, medical associate and department is met with financial acuity and dependability of resources, revenue and commitment. PATIENT INITIATIVE: THEN AND NOWStern at Home Therapy originates from a larger agenda than its focused priorities of today. During its infancy, the founders at Stern created comprehensive outpatient services for seniors. One of the very early believers of personal care programs, Stern truly listened to his patients and their families. More than a service provider, he became a family name. A widespread challenge for patients was the commute and scheduling of ambulatory services to get to appointments. When inquiring about patient distress, the team at Stern made note of every concern and difficulty. They realized that more patients were negligent in their care because it was too difficult for them to come to the facility. So Stern came home and continues to do so for many years, and counting. While Stern at Home Therapy has become a treasure trove of white gloved care, the entire spectrum of geriatric health remains available for our patients to this very day. Although our mission is completely focused and driven by the reversal of obligation and convenience of care, our patients know we are always about helping with the bigger picture.
