Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team at Masthead Brewing Company. In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing high-quality dishes that highlight our unique offerings. Your contributions will be essential in creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
  • Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Participate in menu development by providing input on seasonal dishes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a line cook or prep cook in a restaurant setting.
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for food preparation.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
