Job Overview

Line cook position for food service operations, ensuring that every dish is prepared to perfection and that our kitchen runs smoothly. You'll work alongside a talented head chef and serving staff in a fast-paced environment. Line cook will prep, cook and clean kitchen on a daily shift basis.

What you'll do

  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to menu specifications, ensuring consistency and flavor.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
  • Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation are met.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service during peak hours.
  • Handle food items safely and efficiently, utilizing proper knife skills for meal preparation.
  • Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food as needed.

Basic qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a commercial kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant or catering setting.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
  • Strong culinary skills with a focus on meal preparation and cooking techniques.

Job Type: Part-time

Base Pay: $ $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
