Marketing & Business Development Manager

Ring & DuChateau, LLP is a well-established MEP engineering design firm with more than 95 professionals providing HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, lighting, technology, and commissioning services. We are seeking a Marketing & Business Development Manager to lead our firm's marketing and business development initiatives.
This individual will play a key role in strengthening our brand, supporting client relationships, and positioning the firm for continued growth. The ideal candidate brings a mix of strategic thinking, creativity, and strong organizational skills, with experience supporting marketing and business development efforts in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
In this role you will:
Business Development
- Partner with firm leadership and market sector leaders to develop and implement annual business development goals and strategies.
- Lead the proposal process, including RFP review, development of responses, coordination with technical staff, and production of final deliverables.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research, client outreach, and industry networking.
- Track pursuit metrics and maintain a CRM database of clients, contacts, and project opportunities.
- Represent the firm at industry and community events to strengthen client relationships and brand recognition.
Marketing & Brand Management
- Oversee the development and maintenance of marketing materials, including project profiles, resumes, brochures, and presentations.
- Manage website content, social media presence, and digital marketing initiatives to enhance engagement and visibility.
- Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications.
- Coordinate sponsorships, client events, and conference participation.
- Partner with Human Resources to support recruiting-related marketing, internal communications, and employee engagement initiatives.
Communications & Strategy
- Develop and manage internal communication pieces including intranet content, announcements, and staff spotlights.
- Draft press releases, award submittals, and thought leadership articles.
- Support strategic initiatives and executive communications as needed.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to analyze marketing performance and identify areas for growth and improvement.
In this role you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of marketing or business development experience, preferably within an architecture, engineering, or construction firm.
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing analytics tools preferred.
- Demonstrated professionalism, creativity, and initiative.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with diverse team members.
