The QTI Group is partnering with a software engineering firm to hire an
Applications Development Delivery Leader
. This strategic role blends hands-on technical leadership, client engagement and technical advisor. We are seeking an experienced software developer and delivery leader to guide custom application development and engineering solutions across a mid-market client base, mostly in the manufacturing sector. You will oversee the software development lifecycle – from legacy systems to cutting-edge platforms – while driving innovation, digital product growth, and operational excellence. You will lead a high-performing dual-shore team specializing in development, AI, and analytics, with responsibility for client relationships and business process optimization.

Location
: Brookfield, Wisconsin – Hybrid (3 days/week in-office)

Note: relocation assistance not available

Comp Range:
$120,000-125,000 base + quarterly bonus + annual bonus potential

Responsibilities Include

  • Deliver and manage BI, automation, AI/ML, and custom development projects.
  • Lead client-facing business process and program analyses to identify opportunities for operational improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiencies that can be accomplished through our custom software solutions.
  • Grow recurring fractional development and software support services.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements and align with project goals.
  • Perform business process mapping using lean manufacturing principles to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
  • Oversee all phases of software projects, including defining scope, setting goals, and ensuring successful delivery, as well as managing project financials.
  • Mentor and guide the development team to foster professional growth.
  • Manage departmental profit & loss performance.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain competitive edge and to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Experience leading software development projects in both technical and managerial capacities, preferably in a software development consulting environment.
  • Experience working in or with manufacturing environments and various ERP systems required.
  • Bachelor's in Business, Information Systems, Software Development, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycles and project management principles, including project budget management and business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience managing Azure DevOps, Jira, Power BI, Figma, GitHub and other industry standard platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional client experiences with a track record of successfully managing concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled at leading change initiatives and driving continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with offshore teams is highly preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
