Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our Pizzeria Make tips while you work

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving high-quality food. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry(pizza for sure), strong time management skills, and a commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. Experience in quick service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in your role.

Duties

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Operate POS system Clover for order processing, sales, and cashiering functions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
  • Handle food safely by following sanitation procedures, proper food handling techniques, and maintaining cleanliness of workstations.
  • Manage cash handling accurately during transactions, including processing payments and giving correct change.
  • Support inventory management by restocking supplies and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if needed; a positive attitude towards serving customers is a must

Job Type: Part-time

Base Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
