Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to conduct inpatient neuropsychological and cognitive evaluations across partner hospitals in Sandy and Ogden, UT. The role also includes occasional work in our outpatient clinic in Provo. This position is ideal for a practitioner who is independent, adaptable, tech-savvy, and passionate about cognitive health in older adults and medically complex populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform neuropsychological and cognitive evaluations under the supervision of a Neuropsychologist.
- Coordinate closely with hospital staff, case managers, and referring providers to ensure appropriate testing and reporting.
- Travel between hospital locations as scheduled, primarily Sandy and Ogden locations.
- Provide evaluations and review of findings for appointments in our Provo clinic PRN
- Create treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Document all findings in the EMR in a timely, accurate, and billable manner.
- Assist with occasional education or outreach regarding our cognitive services to hospital partners and community providers.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or PMHNP program (MSN or DNP).
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Utah (unencumbered).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Comfortable working independently in hospital settings.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regional travel.
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical reasoning skills.
- Comfortable and competant in the use of Microsoft Office Applications, Adobe Acrobat, EHRs, and browser-based electronic health applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- High adaptability and intrinsic motivation
Preferred:
- Experience in rehabilitation, intensive care, geriatrics, or psychology settings.
- Familiarity with neuropsychological assessments and interdisciplinary care.

Base Pay: $ $65.00 per hour
