We are seeking a dynamic and driven HR Generalist with a strong focus on Employee Relations, Hourly Recruitment, and Employee Engagement to join our team. This role requires a passionate HR professional who combines creative thinking, attention to detail, and a calm, balanced approach to support a positive and productive workplace culture.

Key Job Elements

Employee Relations
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns, providing guidance and resolution with professionalism and discretion.
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints, conflicts, and concerns in compliance with company policies and state and federal employment laws.
  • Support the development and communication of HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Partner with leadership to promote a respectful, positive work environment.
  • Work with HR and business leaders to support performance management, talent development and succession planning programs
Hourly Recruitment
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly positions, from job posting to onboarding.
  • Oversee the company's contract labor partner to ensure that positions are filled in a timely manner, the candidate pool meets business needs, and labor is evaluated for compliance with company expectations.
  • Collaborate with department managers to understand workforce needs and build proactive talent pipelines.
  • Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates based on specific job requirements.
  • Lead onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Work with key stakeholders to develop effective onboarding, training & development plans specific to the position, and the employee.
Employee Appreciation & Engagement
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute employee appreciation events and engagement initiatives that reflect company culture and values.
  • Develop creative recognition programs to celebrate employee milestones and achievements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver programs that promote a strong sense of community.
HR Generalist Functions
  • Support HR initiatives including performance management, training & development, benefits support, and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and reports.
  • Assist in HR projects and process improvements that drive operational excellence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on employee relations, engagement, and hourly recruitment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Strong presentation skills
