Quality Technician Specialist II

Join our team As a Quality Technician Specialist II, you'll calibrate electronic test measuring and signal generating equipment to conform to set standards, as well as test, calibrate, adjust, and maintain electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments. You'll be responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, calibration and reporting of precision measuring equipment and ground support equipment. You'll maintain calibration and recall schedules that accommodate availability of assets for continued Program support, as well as assist pre-operational and periodic maintenance requirements and checklists. You'll work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform routine testing, checkout, and trouble-shooting functions.The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Associate's Degree in a related field of study and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Must have testing and troubleshooting skills
- Must have ability to work with standard test equipment, including Calibration and Tool Control
- Knowledge with ISO Policy and Procedure, and The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and Manufactures Specifications
- Ability to Obtain/Maintain Secret U.S. Security Clearance required
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Knowledge of DCMA and FAA Part 145

The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
