FIRM INTRODUCTION

Founded in 2010, Warwick Investment Group is a SEC-registered investment advisor with approximately $2.3 billion in managed assets. Warwick manages funds that invest globally in natural resources and real estate and has an established track record in strategic consolidation in these sectors, having completed more than 4,000 transactions since inception. The firm also manages capital for pension funds in eight of the 50 states. Warwick has ~120 team members and advisors across offices in Oklahoma City, Dallas, New York and London, investing across private equity funds, special purpose vehicles and open-ended structures. The firm aims to generate attractive investment returns across market cycles. Warwick's in-house data science team works hand-in-hand with Warwick's sector investment teams over the life cycle of an investment, leveraging innovative technologies to identify market opportunities and optimize investment portfolios. Warwick's data science team specializes in statistics, econometrics, network analytics and machine learning. Warwick's real estate platforms specialize in identifying investment opportunities in markets with favorable tailwinds and attractive, risk-adjusted returns. Through consolidation strategies and development, the firm generates alpha through stable and growing yields, inflation protection and value-add returns. Warwick's energy and natural resources platforms specialize in geology, engineering and investment within each space.

Position Overview:

The Reservoir Engineer will provide critical technical support for the development and optimization of Warwick's operated assets in the Anadarko and Eagle Ford basins. This role will focus on maximizing asset value through reservoir characterization, performance analysis, and development planning, while collaborating closely with geology, land, and operations teams to drive informed investment decisions and optimize field performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide reservoir engineering support for development of Warwick's operated Anadarko and Eagle Ford assets.

  • Review and deliver engineering recommendations on AFE elections, work-in-progress (WIP) evaluations, and acreage trade opportunities.

  • Optimize key engineering components of operated development for Warwick WP3 and WP4 assets, including spacing, well count, completions design, and flowback strategies.

  • Collaborate with geology and land teams on technical reviews, type curve maintenance, and updates for drilling locations.

  • Proactively identify and evaluate potential acreage trades or acquisitions aligned with geologic and reservoir performance objectives to enhance operated positions.

  • Support asset development and acquisition & divestiture (A&D) efforts through reservoir modeling, performance forecasting, and economic evaluation.

  • Prepare technical materials and present findings to the Investment Committee to support strategic decision-making.

  • Analyze basin-wide analogs and development trends in spacing and completions to recommend optimal field development strategies.

  • Evaluate existing well performance and flowback data, identify refrac candidates, and maintain accurate forecasts for base production.

  • Apply advanced reservoir engineering techniques—including decline curve analysis, original oil/gas in place (OOIP/OGIP) estimation, rate-transient analysis (RTA), and EUR assessment—to drive key insights and optimize recovery.

  • Partner with operations and production teams to enhance well performance and ensure alignment of technical and operational objectives.

  • Assess smaller-scale A&D opportunities and support the evaluation of larger strategic transactions.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.

5+ years of reservoir engineering experience in unconventional development; Eagle Ford experience preferred.

Proven success working in multidisciplinary teams, with strong collaboration, initiative, and innovation.

Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive, with sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.

Ability to work independently and take projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision.

Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership.

Proficient in Aries, with solid working knowledge of Excel and Spotfire.

Committed to professional growth and maintaining current industry knowledge.

Open, transparent, and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
