We're Hiring: Teacher Float (Ages 0–5)

Location: Florence Crittenton, Helena, MT

Salary: $15.75 – $16.50 DOE, Non-Exempt

Schedule: Monday through Thursday 8:00 am - 4:45 pm, with a 30-minute break, plus Friday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm (Full-Time, 40 hours per week).

What You Will Do:

As a Teacher Float, you'll bring consistency, care, and creativity to our inclusive early childhood classrooms, supporting children ages 0–5. You'll:

  • Jump in across classrooms to assist with play-based, hands-on learning.
  • Support transitions, group activities, mealtimes, and rest periods.
  • Encourage social-emotional development, self-regulation, and cooperative play.
  • Communicate with families respectfully and help create a welcoming environment for all.
  • Collaborate closely with lead teachers and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Uphold licensing and health/safety standards and contribute to a clean, nurturing environment.

What You Will Bring:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A love for children and a passion for early childhood education.
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different classroom settings and routines.
  • A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
  • The ability to stay calm, patient, and proactive in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to pass a background check.

Experience in early childhood education is preferred but not required—we're happy to support your growth
