The Opportunity

  • Reporting to the Sr. Payroll Manager, you will process payroll, ensuring accurate and timely employee compensation and maintaining payroll records in compliance with regulations. Additional responsibilities involve handling employee inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and updating payroll records. This is a critical role in managing payroll tax processes, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and calculating and reporting payroll taxes.

Your Impact

  • Closely partner with state, local & federal tax agencies on payroll tax registrations
  • Work with ADP and tax agencies to resolve multi-state local & federal tax discrepancies
  • Validate tax reporting data throughout the year to accurately generate year-end tax forms
  • Ensure team members are set up for tax allocations when traveling to another state for work related business.
  • Responsible for recording, monitoring, and resolving agency tax notices/tracers with ADP & government agencies, as well as validating all agency responses.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years experience of payroll tax and the regulatory environment, which includes federal, multi-state, and local tax regulations.
  • Interpret and analyze complex data, make determinations free from immediate direction, and ensure that payroll/payroll taxes are appropriately processed.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and adapt to fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • 5+ years customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of payroll procedures
