The firm is comprised of two distinct functions: investment management and independent fiduciary services. As an investment manager, the firm executes full-service investment management from acquisition to asset management to disposition. As an independent fiduciary, the firm provides financial advisory and owner representation services.

This position will primarily support Managing Partner and two Vice Presidents and serve as a gatekeeper of time and attention.

The right candidate will have 5 years of experience working, preferably with a commercial real estate company, Portfolio Management team a plus. The position is located at L&B's Headquarters, is full-time and will require in-office attendance Monday – Thursday (with the ability to work remotely on Friday only).

Key Responsibilities:

Support assigned Portfolio Management team by:

· Maintaining and updating appropriate records for Investment Management Agreement amendments, letter agreements and similar documents

· Ensure client approvals are submitted timely and assembled with required information – Annual Budgets, Quarterly Reports, Initial Acquisition Certifications, Final Acquisition Certifications, Disposition Briefs, Closing Binders

· Analyze, abstract, and check for compliance of Investment Management Agreements and other property documentation (e.g. Joint Venture Agreements, Property Management Agreements, etc.)

· Collaborate with all departments and attorneys to prepare and/or obtain pertinent documentation for acquisitions and dispositions (e.g. Investment Committee packages, Initial Acquisition Certifications, Final Acquisition Certifications, Incumbency Certificates, Consents, Recommendations to Proceed/Cose, EIN numbers, tax exempt document, and closing binders)

· Overseeing the appraisal process for client assets – make sure appraisers are engaged at appropriate times and that timelines are met.

Portfolio Gatekeeper for the following:

· All Monthly/Quarterly client reporting

· Annual client portfolio review presentations and other ad hoc portfolio presentations

· All assigned client's major recurring initiates and associated reporting

· Research and records compiling for client requests and/or for litigation support.

Serve as the Rotation Administrator; manage the client rotation policy and tracking, pipeline activity (acquisition blasts and outcome, attend the markets meeting, and provide marketing statistics)

Administrative

· Assist in records management (e-filing internal documentation relating to the properties of the portfolio, and client correspondence) and collaborate with IT on system upgrades/issues.

· Responsible for assisting or completing any expenses relating to travel for the Managing Partner, Vice Presidents and/or Client and managing calendar for Managing Partner.

Candidates must possess strong communication, organization, and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, ADOBE (required)
