Additionally, you'll create repeatable blueprints that become the templates for all customer deployments. These will be used to develop our services practices, to enable our delivery teams, our partner teams, and our customers to deploy our secondary storage solutions applications. The ideal candidate is someone who has considerable experience architecting, documenting, deploying, and enabling others.These practices will utilize the architecture sold by our account teams to achieve customer-committed solutions. In addition to building these solutions, this role will also spend considerable time validating these procedures in the field and teaching partners and customers how to apply these in their environment.In this role, you will be working with engineering, systems engineers, tech marketing specialists, and customer support to build out professional services practices starting with the architectural blueprint that covers installation, integration, applications, migration, scripting (automation) to be used by delivery teams, partners and customers.How You'll Spend Your Time HereDeliver architecture and professional services to Cohesity customersBuild strategic relationships with key customers and Cohesity teamsCollaborate with Cohesity's product solutions team to bridge the gap between technology capabilities and customer requirementsEngage directly with customers to understand their organization needs and identify how Cohesity's product features can best support their objectivesWrite and validate deployment architecturesCollaborate with the Cohesity Product Solutions team to bridge the gap between technology capabilities and customer requirements, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer to the solution delivery teamEngage directly with customers to understand their organizational needs and identify how Cohesity's product features can best support their objectivesMaintain and update JIRA by creating and managing user stories to ensure alignment across product, engineering, and delivery teamsDefine technical architecture including sizing and performance that meet customer requirementsEngage with teams to ensure Deployment Designs are successfully deployedCreate knowledge base articles related to practices and architectures.Develop best practices for the deployment designs that translate to project plansContinually improve deliverables as we scale and release new features/productsInspect deliverables for successes and improvements.Work with others to develop post-deployment documentation (run books, pre-deployment templates, etc.)Convert deployment designs and best practices into a training curriculumDeliver hands-on training in small group formatsConduct beta testing of procedures for new deployment designs in the fieldProvide feedback to Implement Engineers, Systems Engineers, and engineering on ways to improve the overall experienceWE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWINGBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.10+ years of professional IT experienceExperience highly desirable in the following areas:Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix Xen App/Desktop)Linux/UnixProficiency in Oracle and SQL is required for this role, with a strong emphasis on practical, hands-on experience in both databases.Data Protection, Data Security and Data ManagementStorage (Isilon, NetApp & Pure)Disaster Recovery/Business ContinuanceDatabase Protection and RecoveryPublic Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)Scripting / Automation (Python, Ansible and ServiceNow)Visio or equivalent applicationExcellent communication and project-related skills are required.Strong verbal communication/presentation skillsStrong written skills and the ability to create documentation.The ability to teach others and make them successful.Self-starter with excellent organization and time management skillsThe ability to manage projects and to drive to a deadline.Expected Travel: > 25%Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate's skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants.
