Executive Producer – Television Programming

Overview

The Executive Producer is responsible for creating, producing, and managing innovative television programming across multiple genres. This role involves creative oversight of a diverse slate of productions and coordination with multiple external production companies. The Executive Producer will collaborate closely with leadership to ensure that creative direction, timelines, budgets, and deliverables are achieved.

Ideal candidates will have a strong history of developing and producing successful entertainment series, with a passion for discovering new formats, genres, and ways to engage audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive innovation and establish a clear creative vision for assigned projects, ensuring excellence in execution from concept through delivery.
  • Contribute to the overall strategic vision and creative direction of the assigned series or content slate.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, fostering open communication and idea-sharing to deliver high-quality, original programming.
  • Oversee all stages of the production process, ensuring alignment with creative goals, budget, and schedule.
  • Explore creative opportunities for each project, including branded content, franchise potential, and event programming.
  • Serve as the lead contact and project manager across all aspects of assigned productions, ensuring effective communication and alignment among internal teams and external partners.
  • Supervise the creative process from initial concept and treatment through final delivery for multiple concurrent series.
  • Review and provide timely feedback to producers throughout development and production, ensuring editorial and creative standards are met.
  • Maintain accountability for all editorial, production, and contractual requirements.
  • Communicate creative and quality expectations to external production companies, addressing issues proactively during development and production.
  • Represent the network in external partnerships, maintaining strong relationships with vendors, production partners, and talent representatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience producing
    talent-led television series
    .
  • Proven ability to manage a slate of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong background in
    post-production
    workflows and delivery standards.
  • Demonstrated success working with external production partners and creative teams to represent network or studio needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience producing content for major broadcast networks or streaming platforms.
  • Background in food, lifestyle, or competition programming is a plus.
