Job Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for commercial roofing construction projects

  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes

  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project requirements and identify potential challenges or opportunities

  • Research and analyze historical data, market trends, and industry benchmarks to ensure competitive pricing

  • Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, including detailed breakdowns of labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs

  • Present estimates to clients and participate in negotiations to secure contracts

  • Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide recommendations for cost control measures

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in construction estimating or related role

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques

  • Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $50.00 per hour
