D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Licensed Insurance Sales Agent for their Insurance Call Center.  The right candidate will be responsible for the direct sales of homeowner's insurance and insurance related products
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Quote and sell various insurance policies to potential customers via telephone and email

  • Place and receive outbound and inbound calls related to insurance sales and sales support.

  • Build and maintain relationships with potential customers and internal contacts

  • Process related paperwork or documentation.

  • Participate in ongoing training and development, including mandatory continuing education.

  • Maintain the appropriate insurance licenses with assistance from the Licensing department.

  • Assist in the training of newly hired agents and representatives.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a sometimes stressful environment.

  • Ability to work with others in a team environment.

Education and/or Experience    High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
2 years of related experience and/or training in a call center or sales environment required
Previous experience with home insurance required
Property & Casualty Insurance License required   Schedule: Hybrid; In office 2 days a week in Plano, TX after training period.
