Provider Relations Manager I

Modivcare is looking for an experienced Provider Relations Manager I to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining positive, productive relationships with transportation providers across assigned geographic areas. The position works closely with company departments and external partners to ensure high-quality service delivery, drive provider performance, and implement process improvements that support key operational metrics.

- Manages transportation execution across all modes within designated areas of responsibility.
- Builds and manages provider relationships at the local and regional levels.
- Identifies opportunities for improvement through continuous provider engagement and communication.
- Conducts training sessions for providers and staff on company policies, systems, portals, and procedural changes.
- Drives performance in safety, on-time pickup and delivery, complaint reduction, digital compliance, and reroute mitigation, using Perfect Trip metrics.
- Partners with Operations leadership to improve performance and reduce missed trips, provider complaints, and member abrasion.
- Utilizes data from multiple systems to diagnose root causes and implement network-level solutions.
- Makes decisions relating to provider engagement and escalates issues requiring broader input.
- Supports safety and compliance initiatives to foster a safe working environment.
- Represents Modivcare at provider meetings, working collaboratively to address concerns and find mutual solutions.
- May lead or participate in additional projects and duties as assigned.
- Requires up to 70% travel to meet with providers, attend industry events, and support various market needs.

- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Zero (0) plus years of experience.
- Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
- Interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at various levels.
- Strong problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making capabilities.
- Customer service orientation and ability to deliver a positive provider experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
- Knowledge of LSI proprietary software is a plus, or the ability to learn new platforms quickly.
- Familiarity with non-emergency transportation brokerage operations is a plus.
Salary: $52, $71,400.00
