What You'll Do
Sol de Janeiro is a global brand seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with NetSuite and Coupa (or other Treasury system), a strong understanding of full-cycle accounts payable processes, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This role is essential to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments while maintaining robust internal controls and supporting broader financial operations.

What You'll Be Working On

  • Review and process vendor invoices in Netsuite, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals in alignment with company policies.
  • Manage invoice workflows and perform 3-way matching for purchase orders and receipts.
  • Process payment runs (ACH and Wire Transfers) in Coupa twice a week.
  • Perform vendor statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Partner with Procurement to facilitate vendor onboarding, including conducting vendor verification calls.
  • Monitor the AP inbox and respond to internal and external inquiries related to invoices, payments, and purchase orders.
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including AP accruals and account reconciliations.
  • Identify and support opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Salary Range

$80,000—$90,000 USD
