Professional Services Manager – Managed IT Services

We pride ourselves on building long-term relationships with clients and providing white-glove service across every engagement.

We're seeking a Professional Services Manager to lead complex technical implementations, migrations, and infrastructure projects. This individual will serve as the technical lead on projects, ensuring successful delivery while maintaining exceptional communication with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project delivery across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and security environments primarily within the Los Angeles region.
  • Design and implement solutions for server, network, and cloud infrastructure (on-prem, hybrid, and cloud).
  • Own technical execution of client onboarding, cloud migrations, server upgrades, and network deployments.
  • Collaborate with account managers and vCIOs to scope solutions and translate client needs into technical deliverables.
  • Document project plans, configurations, and post-implementation notes in ConnectWise or equivalent PSA.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues and mentor junior engineers.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Systems Engineer or Project Engineer in an MSP environment.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Intune, SharePoint
  • Microsoft Azure (VMs, AD, Virtual Networks, Azure AD, Backup/ASR)
  • Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP
  • Firewalls (Fortinet, Meraki, SonicWall, etc.)
  • VMware and/or Hyper-V
  • Backup & disaster recovery technologies (Datto, Veeam, etc.)
  • Proven experience delivering IT infrastructure and cloud projects end-to-end.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (VLANs, routing, VPNs, subnets).
  • Exceptional documentation, client communication, and time management skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate / Solutions Architect
  • CompTIA Network+ / Security+
  • Fortinet NSE or Cisco CCNA/CCNP
  • ITIL or PMP certification (a plus)
