Job Purpose: The Customer Development Specialist role will be to assist customers transitioning new business in to RJW, whether it be new to our portfolio or a new retailers. The Customer Development Specialists assist customers with all onboard activities, while also gathering critical business details to ensure that we are executing at the highest levels for our customers. The goal of the Customer Development specialist is to curate solid and positive relationships with our customers and open lines of communication for future business opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with upper management on capacity planning as suppliers grow with their business Being able to effectively onboard any major U.S. retailer RJW offers to ship to know and understand the Retailers RJW engages with and be able to advise customers on best practice, fine reduction and consolidation capabilities Working along side the sales team to approach business opportunities with current suppliers in our programmer Customers start-up Welcome calls with customers to explain the onboard Process Record all activity/updates in Azure and Share point Coordinate and lead start-up calls for customers engaging with new retailers schedule and manage 30-day hyper care program for suppliers for official onboard hand-off to the CAM team and ensure customer satisfaction with the CAM team on a transition plan for each customer and retailer so there are no disruptions or lost knowledge during the hand over find solutions for new supplier issues (labeling issues, inbound issues, timeline constraints etc)Communication will need to create detailed reports and plans Communicate upcoming plans to upper management Distribute updates to Integration Team problem-solving-- Using a methodical approach to keep projects on track and meet project goals Organization To manage multiple projects at once and keep constant communication with the Customer. Customer service-- to know what customers need and work with IT and CAM Team to ensure we can meet their needs know and understand the RJW business model and utilize opportunities to upscale additional retailer or vendor products to the Customer keep detailed records and update them in to Azure, Share point and the CRM
Additional Responsibilities: Excellent verbal and written skills. Knowledge and ability to enter data in Logistics software. Excellent problem solving and resolution skills. Ability to work under pressure situations. Ability to Multi-task. Detail oriented. General office management experience .
Qualifications: 2 years related experience One year must be completed at RJW
Education and/or Experience Required: High School education required. College or some college preferred.
Language Skills Sets:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to determine "root cause" of problem and determine corrective action.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of Business Operating Systems, Internet software, Word Processing, and Spreadsheet software.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to activate phone systems utilizing keyboards and buttons.
- Must be articulate and comfortable speaking in front of others.
- Regularly works in an indoor/office environment and required to sit and/or use repetitive hand motion.
- Frequently required to talk, hear, stand and walk.
- Must be able to work in excess of continuous 8 hours when required.
- Must be able to work under stressful situations, have good cognitive skills, maintain work accuracy, and the ability to concentrate on more than one task at a time.
- Must have the ability to read and discern visual images on a variety of media with 20/20 corrected vision.
- Must be able to speak and communicate clearly over telephones.
- Must be in sound physical health as determined by a certified licensed physician with no evidence of the use of controlled substances.
