Role OverviewThe Vice President of Sales, Life Sciences & Healthcare leads Reltio's go-to-market strategy and sales execution across North America for two of our most strategic verticals: Life Sciences (Pharma, Biotech, MedTech, CRO) and Healthcare (Payer and adjacent Provider segments). This executive will own new logo acquisition, account expansion, and partner collaboration for the region. As a proven second-line leader, the VP will build and scale a high-performing enterprise sales organization, including hiring Regional Vice Presidents, Account Executives, and cross-functional GTM talent. The role requires a strong understanding of complex enterprise SaaS selling—particularly cloud data platforms, MDM, and data unification solutions—and a strategic grasp of how real-time, trusted data drives business outcomes in regulated, data-intensive sectors such as life sciences and healthcare.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the North America go-to-market plan for Life Sciences and Healthcare, aligned to company growth goals and vertical strategy.
- Build, lead, and mentor a second-line sales organization, including Regional VPs and Account Executives, fostering a high-performance, data-driven sales culture.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Pre-Sales, Partner Alliances, Product, and Services to create integrated account strategies and ensure customer success.
- Drive consistent and predictable revenue growth through disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and operational excellence.
- Represent Reltio as a thought leader with clients, partners, and industry associations, promoting Reltio's value in enabling agentic AI and data unification across healthcare and life sciences.
- Identify, prioritize, and expand strategic accounts within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, healthcare payer, and CRO ecosystems.
- Drive executive engagement across customer organizations (CIO, CDO, Chief Commercial Officer, Head of Data/IT) to position Reltio as the trusted foundation for data intelligence and AI readiness.
- Develop vertical-specific playbooks in partnership with Industry Marketing and Partner Alliances, leveraging Reltio's Reltio for Life Sciences and Reltio for Healthcare velocity packs.
- Establish and manage ecosystem partnerships (e.g., cloud hyperscalers, data enrichment, systems integrators, and consulting partners) to accelerate go-to-market execution.
- Recruit, develop, and retain world-class sales talent, ensuring alignment with Reltio's values and customer-first mindset.
- Coach and empower leaders to improve team productivity, territory execution, and value-based selling excellence.
- Implement scalable processes for forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and deal review rigor.
- Foster collaboration across GTM teams to align on vertical strategy, account planning, and customer success metrics.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of enterprise software sales leadership experience, including 5+ years leading and developing second-line or multi-region sales teams.
- Proven track record in cloud, SaaS, PaaS, or data management sales—preferably with MDM, CDP, or enterprise data platform vendors.
- Demonstrated success leading go-to-market teams in Life Sciences and/or Healthcare (payer, provider, or medical technology) verticals.
- Deep understanding of regulated data environments, such as HIPAA, GxP, IDMP, and payer compliance requirements.
- Experience building partner-led go-to-market motions with hyperscalers and SIs.
- History of consistent quota achievement and top-tier performance.
- Strong executive presence and ability to engage CxO audiences in complex enterprise sales cycles.
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and modern sales productivity tools.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
- Strategic thinker who can translate vertical expertise into GTM acceleration.
- Strong leadership presence, with the ability to hire, coach, and scale high-performing sales teams.
- Operational discipline balanced with creativity and agility in a fast-growing SaaS environment.
- Exceptional communicator with consultative selling skills and deep industry empathy.
- Collaborative partner who thrives in cross-functional, matrixed environments.
