Job Summary
Racer Cartoonist is seeking a passionate and talented 2D Artist to join our dynamic creative team In this role, you will bring concepts to life through stunning visual art, contributing to a variety of projects including character design, digital illustrations, and post-production work. Your expertise will help craft immersive visual experiences that captivate audiences and elevate our brand's storytelling. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated artist eager to push creative boundaries and collaborate across disciplines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality 2D artwork including character designs, backgrounds, UI elements, and concept art using industry-standard tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Leveraging skills in 2D animation and character animation
- Work alongside scriptwriters to create 2D Digital Animation Mock-Ups for review
- Create precise and skillful animation comics for public publishing
- Update the website on a scheduled window for each comic release date
- Assist in story-line generation and political research
- Conduct research on current political activities
Experience
- Proven experience as a 2D Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing character design, illustration, motion graphics, or digital art projects.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), along with experience in video editing using Adobe Premiere.
- Familiarity with animation software such as Spine or Toon Boom is a plus; experience with 3D software like Cinema 4D or Blender is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or C# for scripting purposes within creative workflows.
- Understanding of game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine for integrating 2D assets into interactive environments.
- Solid grasp of anatomy knowledge and color theory to produce realistic and visually appealing artwork.
- Experience working on collaborative projects within a team environment using version control systems like Perforce or similar tools.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new tools and workflows while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
