Job Summary

A Motion Graphics Designer and Editor is responsible for creating dynamic animations, videos, and graphics that effectively communicate ideas through visual storytelling and editing techniques.? A Motion Graphics Designer and Editor create captivating motion graphics and edits video content for a variety of platforms, including web, social media, television, and film. This role requires strong artistic skills, proficiency in animation, and an understanding of video editing software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D.

Job Responsibilities and Skills

  • Design and produce high-quality motion graphics, animations, and visual effects from concept to completion.
  • Edit video content and integrate graphics, sound, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
  • Collaborate with creative teams, clients, and stakeholders to develop visual concepts and storyboards.
  • Optimize graphics and animations for various screen sizes and platforms.
  • Accept feedback and make necessary adjustments to ensure project requirements and creative vision are met.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and animation best practices to push creative boundaries.
  • Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adhere to deadlines to deliver on time and within budget.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong creative and artistic background in graphic design, animation, and editing.
  • Proficiency with relevant design and editing programs (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Cinema 4D).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; comfortable taking both direction and initiative.
  • Attention to detail and ability to adapt motion graphics for diverse media and platforms.
  • Project management and organizational skills for handling multiple assignments.
  • Knowledge of 2D and 3D animation workflows, including compositing, tracking, and rendering pipelines.
  • Experience with motion systems and plugins such as Red Giant, Element 3D, Trapcode, or Octane.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted motion or generative tools (e.g., Runway, Sora, Veo3) is a plus.
  • Understanding of color, typography, and brand systems in motion contexts.
  • This job is ideal for candidates who combine technical expertise with creativity, thrive in collaborative environments, and are passionate about bringing ideas to life through motion design and editing.
