Job Title: Festival Security Guard – Access Point Monitor

Location: III Point- Wynwood

Reports To: Security Supervisor / Head of Security

Work Available as early as Monday, October 13, 2025.

Job Summary:

We are seeking reliable and alert individuals to join our event security team for III Point. Security Guards will be responsible for monitoring designated access points throughout the festival grounds to ensure the safety and security of all attendees, staff, and performers. This position primarily involves standing or sitting at assigned checkpoints, observing activity, controlling entry, and promptly reporting any issues or suspicious behavior to the security command team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor assigned access points to prevent unauthorized entry.
  • Check and verify credentials (staff, vendors, artists, and VIPs) as directed.
  • Maintain a visible security presence to deter unsafe or prohibited activity.
  • Observe and report incidents, disturbances, or safety hazards immediately to supervisors.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication via radio or designated communication channels.
  • Follow event and security procedures at all times.
  • Assist in crowd management if needed in nearby areas.
  • Provide courteous assistance to guests and staff when approached.

Qualifications:

  • Prior event security, customer service, or military/law enforcement experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods.
  • Strong communication and observation skills.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance.
  • Ability to stand or sit for long durations and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Must be 18 years or older.

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Shifts: Minimum 12 hour shifts, (7 AM - 5PM), (4 PM- 1 AM ), (12 AM - 9 AM)
  • Pay: $20/hour
  • Temporary event position for the duration of the festival.
