As a Security Guard - Screener - Full Time in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener at a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing excellent customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Assist with security-related screening procedures at the location, following site-specific policies and protocols.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and directing visitors and/or employees as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter as required by site procedures.
• Report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow emergency response protocols as outlined by site-specific guidelines and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be able to provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Handcuff, pepper spray, and baton training and/or certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
