Our challenge

We are seeking a
Senior Workday Technical Analyst
with strong hands-on experience in Workday configuration, integrations, and system optimization. The ideal candidate combines technical depth with functional understanding of HR domains to support complex enterprise environments. This role requires someone who can independently design, configure, and troubleshoot Workday processes while collaborating closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC/Pennington, NJ is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain Workday business processes across multiple modules (HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Absence, Benefits, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain Workday integrations using Core Connectors, EIBs, and Workday Studio.
  • Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and implement solutions accordingly.
  • Troubleshoot configuration and integration issues, ensuring system accuracy and performance.
  • Conduct impact assessments for new Workday releases, propose enhancement opportunities, and ensure compliance with governance standards.
  • Collaborate with functional leads to optimize workflows, streamline data management, and improve user experience.
  • Document configuration, testing, and change management activities in alignment with audit and compliance requirements.
  • Mentor junior analysts and serve as a domain expert for Workday-related queries.

Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of Workday experience, with strong exposure to Configuration and Integrations.
  • Expertise in at least three modules (e.g., Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Absence).
  • Strong hands-on experience with EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio.
  • Proficiency in Workday reporting and data analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of Workday security framework and data architecture.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with technical and functional teams.
  • Workday certification(s) preferred (Pro/Integration/Studio).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large, complex Workday environments (preferably financial or banking sector).
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies, change control processes, and release management.
  • Ability to work effectively in agile and fast-paced environments.
