We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing comprehensive, high-quality, and accessible healthcare services to our diverse Kansas City community. Our Imaging Department plays an essential role in supporting patient care across multiple specialties.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a PRN Registered Ultrasound Technologist to join our Imaging Department. This position will provide coverage for staff PTO, extended leave, and other scheduling needs as they arise. The ideal candidate is a dependable and skilled sonographer with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including:


• Abdominal

• OB/GYN

• Vascular

• Small parts

• Breast


• Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate documentation in accordance with department protocols.

• Prepare and position patients for procedures while maintaining comfort, dignity, and safety.

• Collaborate effectively with physicians, technologists, and other clinical staff.

• Maintain equipment, report malfunctions, and follow infection control procedures.

• Uphold all regulatory, compliance, and safety standards required in an FQHC environment.

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

• ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification.

• Current BLS certification.

• Preferred:

• Experience in abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and breast ultrasound.

• Prior experience working in an outpatient or FQHC setting.

Schedule:

• PRN / As Needed Basis – coverage for PTO, extended leave, or increased patient volume.

• Flexible scheduling may include weekdays: Monday - Friday, we are closed Saturday and Sunday
