Description

We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing comprehensive, high-quality, and accessible healthcare services to our diverse Kansas City community. Our Imaging Department plays an essential role in supporting patient care across multiple specialties.

Position Summary:

We are seeking aPRN Registered Ultrasound Technologistto join our Imaging Department. This position will provide coverage for staff PTO, extended leave, and other scheduling needs as they arise. The ideal candidate is a dependable and skilled sonographer with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:
• Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including:

• Abdominal
• OB/GYN
• Vascular
• Small parts
• Breast

• Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate documentation in accordance with department protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures while maintaining comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, technologists, and other clinical staff.
• Maintain equipment, report malfunctions, and follow infection control procedures.
• Uphold all regulatory, compliance, and safety standards required in an FQHC environment.

Qualifications

Required:
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Preferred:
• Experience in abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and breast ultrasound.
• Prior experience working in an outpatient or FQHC setting.

Schedule:
• PRN / As Needed Basis- coverage for PTO, extended leave, or increased patient volume.
• Flexible scheduling may include weekdays: Monday - Friday, we are closed Saturday and Sunday
