The Department of Chemical Engineering is seeking a full-time Research Assistant for the Grossmann research lab.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Follow research plans in order to collect, record, and manipulate research data. Maintains accurate and detailed research records and files.
  • May test software prototypes. May interact with research subjects in order to perform job functions.
  • Performs basic data analysis in order to product reports. Documents results and processes.
  • Performs library research and field explorations.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • MS in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • Interdisciplinary strength in Process Systems Engineering
  • A strong research record including academic experience
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Highly motivated and creative, enjoys working in a collaborative research environment
  • A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
