Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detailed oriented Administrative staff Medical Assistant to join our Research team. As a Medical Assistant with our Research team, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about healthcare and have a desire to make a positive impact on patients' lives and the future of medicine. You MUST have the ability to multi task and have strong attention to detail skills

Duties:

- Perform vital signs assessments, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate, pediatric blood draw experience is strongly preferred.

- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations and procedures

- Administer medications and vaccinations

- Provide basic life support in emergency situations

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records

- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, patient follow-up, and QC on Research documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification

- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to provide exceptional patient service with compassion and empathy

- Proficiency in medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing electronic health records

- Basic life support certification preferred

- Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is an asset
