Salary: $70,000 to $75,000 per year, plus quarterly performance-based bonus

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

(Additional duties may be assigned by the CEO)

Operations and Sales Management

• Oversee daily operations across multiple departments. Retail, Catering and Events division for your location.
• Strategize, document, and implement efficient systems and processes
• Collaborate with Director or Operations on ways to improve SOPs to reflect policy and procedural changes
• Track KPIs to drive performance improvements
• Ensure operational compliance with health codes, labor laws, and safety standards
• Conduct regular performance reviews

Leadership and Team Development

• Build, develop, and coach your team
• Set clear performance expectations aligned with Happy Ice's goals and values
• Foster a culture of excellence, ownership, and positivity across all teams
• Recruit, onboard, and exit staff as needed in coordination with HR
• Recognize, celebrate, and reward excellence regularly

Financial and Inventory Management

• Manage and analyze P&L statements, sales reports, and store-level KPIs
• Ensure proper inventory management and cost control by store managers

Compliance and Process Improvement

• Ensure you store compliant
• Ensure staff certifications (e.g., Food Handler, OSHA) are maintained and tracked
• Refine and implement operational improvements continuously

Community Engagement and Brand Growth

• Represent Happy Ice at events, pop-ups, and activations
• Support catering growth strategies and collaborate with the catering department
• Help execute marketing initiatives and enhance brand visibility in each community

What We're Looking ForRequired

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or equivalent work experience
• Two or more years of management in food service, hospitality, or QSR
• Proven leadership track record in building high-performing teams
• Deep understanding of operations, training, and team development
• Proficiency in systems such as POS, scheduling, and Google Suite
• Leader-driven mindset with strong follow-through and accountability
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance

Preferred

• Experience in catering and events operations
• Strong financial acumen
• A personal passion for desserts, food, or the restaurant industry
