08About the Role: EDM Product Technical Support
The Team:
EDM provides Enterprise Data Management solutions for banks, asset managers, hedge funds, insurance companies, software companies and treasury functions in large institutions. With offices in EMEA, North America, APAC and India, EDM has a global reach and increasingly clients require work to be carried out remotely from their main office.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Primary duties will be 2nd line support investigation, reproduction, and resolution of customer issues which includes but is not limited to:
Advising on workarounds and identifying issues for bug fixing by the development team.
Supporting and monitoring feeds and processes for hosted and installed clients.
Interacting with clients and colleagues to ensure accurate and timely information flows.
Investigating and documenting existing procedures and making recommendations for improvements
Providing 1st line support when necessary, which includes responding to telephone and online support queries.
Volunteer On-call support for which additional payment is provided for weekends and evenings. (After 1 year in role)
Compensation/Benefits Information:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $46,000.00 to $62, Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. What We're Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
Experience in database management using MS SQL
Client Facing experience
Excellent problem solving capabilities
Strong oral and written communication skills
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Direct experience of EDM
Knowledge of web services and additional database software
