COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Green Apple School Management, LLC (Green Apple), is an education management company managing a network of public charter schools serving Kindergarten through 12th grades on campuses in Brevard County. Fully accredited through COGNIA, Green Apple assists non-profit school boards with all phases of school design, planning, development, budgeting, financing, construction, operations, and curricula. Green Apple is now accepting applications for an Accounts Payable Specialist.
Accounts Payable Specialist – Looking for team-player with a strong work ethic who can join a high-performing team to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and process invoices with proper documentation.
- Code and enter invoices into the online payment system.
- Perform 3-way match (PO to receiving to invoice).
- Prioritize invoices based on business criticality and payment terms.
- Process employee expense reports and check runs as per guidelines.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and files.
- Assist with bank deposits, bank reconciliations and month-end closing.
- Provide support for audits and grant-related expenses.
- Assist with vendor setup and 1099 maintenance and reporting.
- Provide backup support for payroll as needed.
- Make weekly or as-needed trips to each school (located in Palm Bay).

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills.
- Customer service oriented.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Quickbooks.
- Ability to interpret spreadsheets and accounting data.
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
- Strong work ethic and team player.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the responsibilities of this position, the work environment characteristics are usual office working conditions and includes local travel to schools to work with school personnel periodically.
No physical exertion required. Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT, SALARY, AND BENEFITS

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of strong full-cycle AP experience with high volume.
- Preferred experience with Quickbooks and intermediate MS Excel skills.
- Familiarity with 3-way match process.
- Strong data entry and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage internal and external customer relations.

Pay: $40, $45,000.00 per year
