Job Overview:

The Scheduler/Receptionist is responsible for performing clerical and administrative tasks within the OP Women's Imaging department.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Clerical experience to include typing and filing preferred

Preferred:

  • BLS

Schedule:

  • Per Diem day shift following a period of orientation and training
  • Weekend rotation

Essential Functions:

  • Checks to see if all necessary documents, reports, and prescriptions are complete and in patient's packet
  • Displays professional behavior in execution of job responsibilities
  • Communicates effectively and courteously to all patients and family
  • Proficient at making, canceling, and maintaining appointments
  • Prepares charts for each day and confirms all information is up to date
  • Greets patients in accordance with excellent customer service training
  • Charts any necessary notes neatly, accurately, and thoroughly
