Position: Trainer Sales Associate (Part-Time)

Base + Commission ($25–$30/hr potential)

Location: HOTWORX Infrared Fitness Studio — Charleston (West Ashley)

HOTWORX Charleston is currently under construction and preparing for its grand opening. We are actively building our membership base now through presale outreach and local marketing. We're hiring Trainer Sales Associates (TSAs) to drive new member sales, generate leads, and represent HOTWORX in the West Ashley community.

This is a sales-focused role from day one, with significant commission opportunities both during the presale period and after the studio opens.

Presale Responsibilities (Prior to Studio Opening):

  • Sell HOTWORX memberships through in-person, phone, text, and email outreach
  • Generate leads through walk-up traffic, pop-up events, and referral efforts
  • Conduct business-to-business marketing and local partnerships
  • Represent HOTWORX at community events and offsite promotions
  • Assist with social media and marketing efforts
  • Follow up with leads to move them through the full sales cycle
  • Track lead activity and conversion metrics using studio tools
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly membership sales goals

Presale commissions are earned on each new membership sold, with additional team bonuses based on studio-wide performance during the launch phase.

Post-Opening Responsibilities (After Studio Opens):

  • Continue sales responsibilities above
  • Greet guests and sell memberships in the studio
  • Continue outbound outreach to drive new sales
  • Promote retail products and sell add-ons to existing members
  • Onboard new members and demonstrate use of the HOTWORX app and infrared saunas
  • Execute daily opening/closing procedures and cleaning tasks
  • Deliver excellent customer service and support long-term retention
  • Promote in-studio challenges and encourage member engagement
  • Meet personal and team membership and retail sales goals

After opening, commissions apply to new memberships, retail sales, and overall studio performance.

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales, retail, or customer service preferred
  • Motivated by commission-based compensation
  • Comfortable meeting new people and having high-energy conversations
  • Self-motivated and results-driven
  • Very strong work ethic
  • Available a minimum of 25 hours per week
  • Willing to complete HOTWORX University certification and CPR/First Aid
  • Punctual, professional, and team-oriented

Studio Staffed Hours (after opening):

  • Monday–Thursday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Sunday: Unstaffed or limited hours
