Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain patient medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Assist in the organization and retrieval of medical records for healthcare providers.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient information privacy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to facilitate the smooth flow of information within the office.
  • Conduct regular audits of medical records to ensure adherence to established protocols.
  • Provide support in training staff on proper record-keeping practices and systems usage.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
