WHAT YOU WILL DO As the Manager, Public Relations, you are responsible for overseeing the creation and execution of successful PR and earned media strategies at Primrose designed to reach current and prospective families. You will collaborate with the Director, External Communications, and agency partners to elevate brand visibility and reputation. You will create PR programs to help increase brand awareness and drive enrollment, including School Excellence PR strategies, new school PR support, influencer programs and awards, and deliver measurable results through clear reporting. You will offer creative, earned-centric ideas that challenge the status quo balancing strategic PR skills with tactical execution. This is a full-time, hybrid role.
- Develop and lead earned media strategies aligned with company objectives, including local PR programs and influencer campaigns, overseeing implementation and reporting
- Manage PR amplification plans to ensure the right messages are elevated to appropriate audiences across earned, owned and internal channels
- Develop and update internal PR resources and training materials
- Oversee company awards strategy and execution to position Primrose as an industry-leading brand
- Conduct research on media trends, coverage, awards, and more
- Manage coverage tracking, measurement, and reporting with support from PR agency and third-party programs
- Lend subject matter expertise to other business segments
- Assist Director, External Communications in writing press releases, creating media materials and developing thought leadership content
- Monitor and analyze effectiveness of PR campaigns and communicate insight to management
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or journalism
- 5+ years' experience executing large scale media relations strategies and programs
- PR agency experience, a plus
- Experience writing press releases, award nominations, and in managing measurement and reporting
- Experience with a franchise-brand, a plus
- Written and verbal communication skills
