Seattle, Washington, United States Possible Finance Full time $130,000 - $145,000 per year

Since our founding, we have redefined how people approach small-dollar loans—delivering over $1 billion in funding to more than 1 million customers, issuing over 4 million loans, and saving our customers more than $500 million.

At Possible, we're building a new type of consumer finance company; one that helps our customers stay out of debt rather than profit from their staying in it. We are a Public Benefit Corporation with the mission to help communities unlock economic mobility through affordable credit products crafted to improve financial health for generations. Join the team that's making our goal a reality.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Treasury & Capital Markets, you'll lead day-to-day treasury operations, liquidity forecasting, and lender reporting - partnering closely with Strategic Finance on forecasting and capital planning, Accounting on reconciliations and close, and Data Science on data pipelines and reporting automation.

You'll use SQL and data tools to build automated reports, analyze cash positions, and improve visibility into funding flows. You'll also gain exposure to capital markets transactions by supporting modeling, diligence, and structuring. This opportunity offers significant influence and responsibility for an individual who is actively involved, technically proficient, and eager to make a substantial contribution to a fast-expanding enterprise.

What You'll Do

Treasury Operations & Liquidity Management

  • Own daily cash positioning, intercompany funding, and short-term funding across entities and bank accounts
  • Build and maintain short- and long-term liquidity forecasts with Strategic Finance, Accounting, and Data Science; investigate and explain variances
  • Build and automate treasury and funding reports using SQL; build and maintain dashboards for balances, movements, yield, and covenant metrics
  • Optimize interest income and monitor bank fees; recommend improvements to account structure and services
  • Maintain strong internal controls, reconciliations, and documentation rigor
  • Administer banking platforms (user access/entitlements) and support account openings, closures, and KYC updates
Facility Operations & Lender Reporting
  • Own warehouse facility reporting, including borrowing base, covenant, and compliance packages, as well as forward flow reporting, including weekly remittance and month-end reports; coordinate data pulls across finance, accounting, risk, and data teams
  • Manage routine facility operations (funding requests, settlements, remittances, confirmations) with a bias for automation and accuracy
  • Track and communicate LOC/credit facility activity (draws, repayments) and liquidity buffers

Capital Markets (Learn & Support; prior light exposure helpful)

  • Support analytics, modeling, diligence, and playbook building for new or expanded facilities (warehouse, forward flow, ABS, venture debt)
  • Participate in structuring conversations with lenders alongside the Director/CFO; grow into co-owning workstreams over time
Cross-Functional Partnership & Systems
  • Partner with Strategic Finance on capital planning, scenario modeling, and company-wide operating model inputs
  • Collaborate with Accounting on cash reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany settlements, and close
  • Work with Data Science and Credit Risk to align liquidity forecasts & lender reporting with portfolio performance and automate data pipelines
  • Evaluate and help implement TMS (e.g. Kryiba)/automation and improve ERP integrations (e.g., NetSuite)
  • Support payment initiatives to onboard new payment partners and streamline processes (ACH, RTP, debit rail)
Skills & Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability in Treasury, Capital Markets, FP&A, or banking; fintech or lending experience preferred
  • Sophisticated SQL required; strong Excel/financial modeling; experience with BI or automation tools a plus
  • Solid understanding of accounting, reconciliations, and treasury standard methodologies
  • Experience preparing lender/investor reporting; exposure to structured finance and familiarity with borrowing base & forward flow mechanics preferred
  • Process-improvement attitude with strong documentation and data hygiene
  • Clear communicator who can translate complex data into actionable insights for executives and external partners
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Data Analytics; MBA, CPA, or CTP a plus
  • Curious, accountable, and hungry to learn and to contribute
