Freelance Assistant Apparel Store Manager
to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate
$25/hr - $30/hr Depending on experience

Position Overview
The Freelance Assistant Apparel Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, driving sales performance, and maintaining visual and operational standards. This role helps lead and motivate the store team to deliver an outstanding shopping experience while meeting company goals and brand standards.

Responsibilities Of The Freelance Assistant Apparel Store Manager

  • Assist in managing daily store functions, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory control.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
  • Support the Store Manager in achieving and exceeding sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by coaching team members to engage with customers and promote brand loyalty.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate sales associates to achieve performance targets.
  • Assist in staff scheduling, performance feedback, and on-the-job coaching.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages collaboration and accountability.

Required Experience/Skills for the Freelance Assistant Apparel Store Manager:

  • 2+ years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Freelance Assistant Apparel Store Manager:

  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Team leadership and coaching.
  • Merchandising and visual presentation.
  • Experience in the apparel or fashion industry is preferred.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma is required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
