We are seeking an OB/GYN experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. We are in need of someone with exceptional work ethic and an expanded perspective.

CMA:

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Patient intake and rooming.

· Obtaining prior authorizations (medications, procedures, surgeries).

· Manage daily phone calls related to, but not limited to test results, referrals, prior authorizations, medication refills, correspondence with our service vendors.

· Explaining test results and rationale/ recommendations for follow up.

· Schedule/ reschedule appointments as needed.

· Perform order reconciliations- monthly.

· Monitor patient cases for follow-up.

Ancillary Duties (as needed):

· Complete visits by recording patient examinations, treatment, and test results.

· Prepare patients for health care visits by directing and/or accompanying them to the examining room.

· Answer questions regarding care.

· Specimen processing.

· Assist with chart preparation.

Skills and Abilities

· Must be able to interact professionally and politely with patients and doctors.

· Teamwork is quintessential.

· Ability to communicate with patients in a pleasant manner.

· Ability to maintain composure when dealing with difficult situations.

· Utilize various computer technologies for patient information input.

· Ability to recognize problems and recommend solutions.

· Extensive knowledge and application of knowledge to the OBGYN field of practice.

· Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.

· Ability to assist in office procedures.

· Ability to take vitals and patient history.

Qualifications:

· Efficiency with EMR Preferred experience with eclinicalWorks

· Medical office is REQUIRED

We are currently hiring 3 Medical Assistants.

We are currently looking for a bilingual Medical Assistant which is Highly desired.

OB/GYN Experience is required
