Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative assistance to ensure the smooth operation of our practice and the highest standard of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians and healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
  • Assisting providers with in-office procedures.
  • Performing suture/drain removal.
  • Patient education for pre-operative and post-operative care.
  • Record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information in electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure that they are clean, stocked, and ready for patient use.
  • Schedule patient appointments, manage patient flow, and handle patient inquiries.
  • Educate patients about prescribed medications, treatments, and health maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential from an accredited program- Required.
  • 1-2 years Medical Assistant experience- Required.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification- Preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and judgement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
