Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Retail Sales Representative to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about customer service and retail sales. The Junior Retail Sales Representative will assist customers in a retail store environment, ensuring a positive shopping experience while effectively handling cash transactions and promoting products through upselling techniques.

Duties

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and assisting with product selection.
  • Maintain knowledge of store products to effectively sell and upsell items to customers.
  • Supervise junior staff or new associates as needed, providing guidance on best practices in retail sales.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.

Experience

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively.
  • A willingness to learn about products and sales techniques to improve performance in the role.
