Automation Systems Engineer

- Develop, automate, and maintain system configurations, workflows, and processes to ensure the availability and performance of mission-critical systems
- Collaborate with software engineers and DevOps teams to optimize cloud deployment, system integration, and CI/CD automation
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline configuration management, deployment, and monitoring
- Monitor and troubleshoot system and network performance issues to ensure high availability and scalability
- Support the integration and operation of containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools
- Implement and enforce system and network security measures to ensure compliance with organizational standards

- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
- 12 years of experience in systems engineering
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP in support of infrastructure and application deployment
- Proficiency with scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible)
- Understanding of networking concepts such as routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, and load balancing
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes or ECS)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices to support automated build and deployment workflows
- Strong working knowledge of Linux and/or Windows system administration
