Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently handling food preparation, cashiering, and customer service duties. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in quick service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in food handling, sales, and hospitality. Part time High school Students and College Students are welcome

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service
  • Take orders accurately using our Bluu POS systems
  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards and safety guidelines
  • Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with attention to cash handling procedures
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, counters, and food prep stations
  • Manage food safety protocols including proper food handling and sanitation practices
  • Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy environment for guests
  • Support team members in various tasks such as restocking supplies and basic kitchen duties
  • Ensure quick service delivery during peak hours while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or retail environments is preferred but not mandatory
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Bluu POS is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, grocery store math, or retail math applications
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting with excellent time management skills
  • Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or kitchen operations is advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers
  • Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends and evenings as needed
