Reporting to the Director of Distribution, you will lead a team of Business Development Specialists responsible for driving Red Bull's product availability and visibility across all business segments. Your primary responsibilities include supervising account audits, gathering market insights, and implementing strategic changes to enhance in-store execution. By utilizing data-driven decision-making and building strong relationships, you will ensure sustainable growth in Red Bull's brand presence and sales performance within your designated territory.

As a leader, you will guide the Business Development Specialists in identifying growth opportunities, cultivating key accounts, and executing initiatives that strengthen Red Bull's competitive edge in the market. Your overarching objective is to develop scalable solutions that optimize product distribution, visibility, and profitability.

Job Description

TEAM LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT

Manage the daily operations of Business Development Specialists, ensuring alignment with business goals and priorities.

Offer coaching, training, and mentorship to team members to promote performance improvement and professional development.

Establish clear performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations to ensure the success of both individuals and the team.

Encourage collaboration across departments to coordinate strategies and initiatives effectively.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT & AUDITING

Conduct comprehensive account reviews and audits to evaluate the overall condition of key accounts and identify potential opportunities for future growth.

  • Analyze data related to beverage availability, distribution strategies, pricing structures, and market gaps to generate actionable insights.
  • Create strategic plans aimed at enhancing account performance, focusing on factors such as SKU availability, equipment placement, and operational improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to follow-up actions and successful implementation of recommended changes.

MARKET INSIGHTS & OPPORTUNITY IDENTIFICATION

Monitor competitive threats, analyze market trends, and identify new business opportunities to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.

Collaborate with the team to pinpoint distribution gaps and explore alternative market routes.

Oversee negotiations and finalize upcoming distribution agreements to drive business growth and expansion.

CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT & PROSPECTING

Develop and sustain relationships with high-priority accounts, ensuring exceptional execution in both On-Premise and Off-Premise channels.

Identify current and future product needs within accounts and seek opportunities to boost sales.

Ensure accounts receive proper servicing from Musketeers and RBDC to promote increased sales.

Supervise the team's customer prospecting initiatives, ensuring alignment with channel and segment strategies.

Uphold execution standards with a focus on optimizing product assortment and visibility.

Determine the most efficient route to market.

FIELD WORK & STRATEGY EXECUTION

Conduct regular field visits to key accounts and potential prospects to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Supervise survey completion, follow-up appointments, and asset tagging to ensure accurate and actionable reporting.

Ensure the timely and effective execution of strategic priorities, including visiting accounts, making cold calls, and optimizing routes.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, & EDUCATION (IF APPLICABLE) REQUIRED

Over 2 years of experience in the beverage industry, gastronomy, hospitality, catering, marketing, and sales.

Strong analytical abilities coupled with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in using CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and preferably Business Intelligence (BI) tools or software.

A creative and solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently.

Capable of thriving in fast-paced and dynamic environments while effectively managing multiple priorities.

Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is considered an advantage.

Additional Information

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

The base salary range for this position is $105, ,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
