Job Overview
Mogao Hospitality Group is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support our growing restaurant group operations.
This role will focus on payroll processing, accounts payable, and bookkeeping, ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient financial management across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule;
- Manage vendor invoices, payments, and account reconciliations (AP);
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records in QuickBooks or similar software;
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports;
- Support accountants with tax filings and audit documentation;
- Track and manage employee reimbursements, invoices, and advances;
- Provide administrative and financial support to the Head of Accounting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
- Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or finance (restaurant experience preferred);
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel;
- Knowledge of U.S. payroll procedures and compliance preferred;
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management;
- Effective communication in English (verbal and written). (Bilingual in Chinese preferred).
