We are seeking a dedicated and organized Specialty Care Patient Coordinator to support the Behavioral Health and Nutrition service lines. This role acts as a critical liaison between behavioral therapists, dietitians, and patients—ensuring seamless communication and a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering compassionate, professional care.

Selected Responsibilities:

Coordinate patient flow and scheduling for behavioral therapists and registered dietitians

Accurately check patients in/out and verify information in the system

Answer phone calls and electronic communications; relay messages promptly

Explain insurance benefits, service fees, and organizational policies to patients

Support online appointment rescheduling and monitor provider waitlists

Ensure required forms and documentation are completed for in-person and virtual visits

Provide administrative support for group classes, including some evening sessions

Post patient payments and manage billing entries

Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Perform general administrative duties and cover for team members as needed

Other Priorities:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA compliance.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in EMR systems (EPIC strongly preferred) and Microsoft Office.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Effective time management and workload prioritization.

Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
